As a big consumer of Prescription Sunglasses and regular glasses, I tried the Optical Superstore in Ainslie Place CANBERRA, and was very impressed. I have a weird prescription and graded focus lenses. The lenses and service were the equal best I've had over 5 countries and 30 years. Perfect progressive shading and focus. Very impressed and I will return. Fred looked after me and knows what he's doing. Very nice people as well.They're a little out of the way but still only 150m from Canberra Centre towards Canberra Theatre.Store Location: Canberra Superstore - Ainslie place

Great service, I walked in with no appointment with an irritated eye, the friendly staff booked me in almost immediately - The female optometrist Ya Weng was amazing, careful, gentle and found the cause of the problem and the relief was immediate! And medicare covered the cost just as an extra bonus. So grateful, I highly recommend the Optical Superstore

Fantastic service, the optometrist was great to deal with and very thorough. The front staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. I'm hopeless at picking frames out for myself, and Amy was extremely patient in helping me find some pairs that make me look good. Loved the after care with making sure they fit correctly and adjusting as needed. Thanks team - will be back again for future needs!

I have had a few issues here but the optometrist I see is brilliant and the reason I choose to go here. The receptionist was very competent and really lovely, it was nice compared to my last experience, with the younger sounding bloke over the phone.

Have been going here for years now.always happy with the service. This time I had a broken screw in my glasses frame. Jamie was so helpful in finally getting it out and fixing them. She perservered for quite a while to finally fix it. I was wearing an old script pair which was a couple of years old and was really hoping they could fix it as I will have a eye test in August and didnt want to pay out for new glasses until then.They are always pleasant and easy to talk with and nothing is too much trouble. Great staff. Affordable modern frames. I used to travel to Sydney to have my glasses made at a small specialist practice which has closed down. Luke helped me to source the same lens supplier so I could have light weight lenses. He was really knowledgeable, experienced and so friendly. The optometrist also helped to identify what might be contributing to my migraines with the imaging she performed. Highly recommend this store.

I visited here today. They are kindness and pretty 😍 i got eyedrop from there because my eyes are so dry. I dropped it on my eyes when i back home and then my eyes are no itchy and dry anymore. Eye test was also nicly progress. I went to other place before but the place people were not nice so I canceled and I went to this place. I think that was good decision for me.

I highly recommend Vamsi Somanchi who does RPL (Rapid Pulse Light) At Morayfield in QLD for dry eyes etc. He was very patient & has a fantastic manner, discusses treatment very well & works with you to continue to help & supported my eye health. I’d definitely recommend Vamsi to anyone who has dry eyes.. just go see him.

I recently took my aged mum for an eye test. I was so pleased with the thorough attention that Alex offered mum. She felt listened to and really cared for. Alex took time to ensure her new glasses will provide her with the best vision possible. The staff I store were all welcoming. We will definitely be back.

I am visiting from Canada with only one pair of older (but highly necessary) reading glasses. The wire on one of the lenses popped yesterday and I went into panic mode. However, as soon as I stepped into the Optical Superstore in Cotton Tree, I was surrounded with smiles and calm friendly vibes. The ladies weren’t certain they could fix my lens, but were willing to try, and even directed me to the nearest chemist to buy an off the shelf pair of readers for backup. I left my glasses, bought the generic ones, and as I was exiting the chemist, received a call from the optical store saying my glasses were fragile, but fixed. Yay! The entire series of transactions took maybe half an hour. And - it was free! Now that’s serious service! Thank you for solving my situation with grace and compassion. I am typing this with my new/old glasses successfully perched on my nose. I can see clearly again - thanks to you!

My family of four visited just before Christmas and the staff were accommodating, professional, patient and kind on this and subsequent visits. While I did notice more options to upgrade and spend more than ever before, the staff did in no way pressure, but rather presented the information clearly to offer the choices available. One staff member was particularly kind to my preteen, who was feeling a little uncomfortable about having to choose new frames. She made the experience casual and fun and helped her pick the perfect pair, even helping her get two pairs of the same frame.
